A Special Needs Teaching Assistant is required for a temporary role starting after the October Half term at a School in the North West. The role is working with a Year 3 pupil with Autism for at least 6 weeks.
The ideal candidate will have a have strong background working with SEN pupils and supporting pupils working at a wide range of abilities.
Experience working in a Special School setting teaching pupils with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties and associated Learning Difficulties would be highly desirable. An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teacch or Team Teach would also be desirable.
