Salary/ Rate: £62 per day

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 3, 4 through to Key Stage 5 at a school in the North West. This role is for 5 days per week, is to start as soon as possible working full time.

The ideal candidate will have previous teaching assistant experience, will be confident undertaking work to the Key Stage 3 – Key Stage 5 curriculum.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Previous KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5 experience
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references working with children
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

SEN Construction Tutor

Exclusive Education are currently working with a Special Educational Needs School who are looking for a tutor to deliver lessons in Construction. They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivating and engaging to work with the pupils throughout the school.

The school caters for vulnerable and disengaged young people that cannot access mainstream education. They are looking for positive role models that are able to assist in the planning and delivery of joinery, brickwork and general construction lessons to small groups of students in an engaging way. Pupils may display challenging behaviour so excellent behaviour management is necessary and de-escalation training would be beneficial.

They aim to provide structure and education to pupils while helping to re-integrate back into school and offer a range of vocational courses. You will be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment for all students.

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Experience working with young people.
  • Good knowledge of Construction, Labouring or Design Technology.
  • Excellent behaviour management with a calm but firm approach.
  • Be passionate about encouraging all children to achieve success
  • Be ambitious to support and extend the learning opportunities for all of the pupils
  • Have a commitment to working in partnership with staff, parents and the community to promote excellent learning opportunities for all

Teaching across the whole school from Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 including GCSEs you will need to have the ability to motivate pupils and encourage a positive learning environment through construction and the school curriculum.

Maths Teacher

Candidates are required to have recent experience of teaching Mathematics. Applications from NQT’s will be considered. You’ll also be responsible for marking students’ work and providing them with necessary feedback, encouragement and support. Teaching students up to KS3, KS4  KS5, BTEC, Y12 and Y13.
