Secondary Geography Teacher

Exclusive Education are looking for a Geography Teacher to start immediately on a temporary contract, which could potentially be long term. You will be delivering lessons in a range of topics such as physical environment, world climate, rural and urban development and population studies to students within Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.

You will be required to;

Use a variety of teaching techniques such as whole class lessons, discussions, individual or group work
Organise and direct the whole class and help individual pupils as required
Set assignments, projects, tests, preparing and carrying out continuous assessments and marking pupils’ work
Experience teaching AS and A2 Geography is desirable

You must have:

QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
At least 6 months experience working with children in the last 2 years
Legal right to work in the UK

History Teacher

Exclusive Education are searching for a History Teacher on behalf of our client, a well-respected school in the North West. The ideal teacher will be innovative, enthusiastic and passionate. You will need to be able to plan and prepare exciting lesson plans to enthuse the students.

The successful candidate will be delivering lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential to cover some Key Stage 5. The role is for a long term basis to start straight away. The candidate must have A Level Teaching experience.

Resources and support within the Humanities Department are excellent, they have a blend of NQT’s and experienced Secondary Teachers which makes for a great balance.

Pupil progress and engagement with the curriculum is high on the agenda, so you will need the ability to hit the ground running, creating differentiated and innovative lessons delivered in a clear, structured manner is essential.

Humanities Teacher

A Humanities Teacher is required in a Secondary School to teach 11 to 16 year olds. The right candidate will hold a background in teaching History, Geography and/or Religious Studies ideally up to KS5, although KS3/4 teachers will also be considered.

Cover Supervisor

Exclusive Education are looking for a Cover Supervisor to work in local schools in the North West. Working as a Cover Supervisor is an ideal way of building on past school experience for those looking to gain a career in the education sector or go on to complete Teacher Training.

The ideal candidate will have good classroom management, planning and marking skills and have good knowledge of the Religious Education Curriculum. You must have spent time with KS3, KS4 and KS5 pupils.

Cover Supervisors are required on an ongoing basis to:

Provide the pupils with work already set by the Teacher
Supervise and manage a classroom of pupils, while enabling a constructive and positive learning environment
Collect completed work after the lesson and pass to the appropriate teacher
Provide feedback to senior staff where appropriate

Applicants are expected to have at least 6 months experience of working with children in the past 2 years, formal qualifications are not necessary. Applicants who have experience teaching sports clubs to children, attended Camp America or Active Soccer or have other similar experiences will be suitable for the role.

The following skills are desirable for becoming a Cover Supervisor:

Highly adaptable as there is no a regular timetable
Open to work in a range of schools and areas
Resilient as you will deal with a variety of situations
Behaviour management skills
