Exclusive Education require a Cover Supervisor to cover a variety of lessons on an ongoing basis. You will be working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils, providing them with the work already set by the Teacher and ensuring they remain on task and engaged throughout the lessons. You will have the schools behaviour policy to use to manage the pupils behaviour and the support of senior management when required.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a secondary school or college setting as either as a Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor or Teacher. The position may also suit graduates with a sport or coaching background.

Working as a Cover Supervisor is an ideal way of building on past school experience for those looking to gain a career in the education sector or go on to complete Teacher Training.

One to One SEN Teacher

A Special Needs Teacher is required to work with our clients. The schools cater for Secondary aged pupils with complex Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. The role will involve teaching a range of subjects across the Curriculum. You will be working one to one with pupils and encouraging learning. You should be enthusiastic and engage pupils. You must have strong behaviour management.

Applicants must have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with pupils with SEBD ideally
  • Sound knowledge of child development
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Needs
  • An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would also be desirable

Humanities Teacher

Cover Supervisors Needed

URGENT requirement for Cover Supervisors across the Merseyside and Cheshire areas including Liverpool, Wirral, Runcorn, Widnes, Warrington and Crewe. We are looking for energetic and proactive Cover Supervisors to join our agency to help meet the high demand from our client schools.

We have a variety of secondary schools looking to book cover supervisors to cover for absent teachers, including some of the most academically successful schools in the region. We have a lot of day to day opportunities and we do also get the occasional long-term requirement, but in general there is a high level of short-term bookings and the work is often at short notice.

 

The successful candidate must:

  • Be confident delivering a range of subject specific lessons in front of a class
  • Ensure all pupils understand the work delivered and remain on task throughout
  • Interact and effectively manage the behaviour of students
  • Communicate effectively with teachers providing feedback
  • Have previous experience of working with groups of children essential
  • Have a dynamic, energetic and proactive attitude
  • Be adaptable, flexible and willing to travel
