We are currently seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher who has a real interest in the provision of quality teaching for all students. The school is looking for a Maths Teacher to teach pupils up to GCSE and A Level, along with having the willingness to assist the department in delivering a broad curriculum. The successful candidate will need to be able to adapt to different environments and they must be able to work flawlessly in a team or effectively on their own. Time management and excellent organisation skills are essential!

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are required and you must be able to ensure that pupils are challenged at all times in order to achieve the best possible results. You will apply your teaching skills to motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students to produce the highest quality work.

We are looking for candidates that possess the following: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience of delivering Maths across Key stage 3, 4 and 5
  • An excellent understanding of the latest developments to the National Curriculum
  • Ability to write and assess schemes of work
  • Ability to engage and motivate pupils of all abilities
  • Good classroom management and behaviour skills

You should have a good understanding of the latest developments to the National Curriculum and an awareness of how to utilise these changes to your advantage.

Cover Supervisor

We are looking to recruit Cover Supervisors in the Cheshire, Lancashire, Halton, Merseyside, Wirral and Chester areas as we currently don’t have enough people available for the opportunities that we have on a daily basis. Working as a Cover Supervisor is an ideal way of building on past school experience for those looking to gain a career in the education sector or go on to complete Teacher Training.

Cover Supervisors are required on an ongoing basis to:

  • Provide the pupils with work already set by the Teacher
  • Supervise and manage a classroom of pupils, while enabling a constructive and positive learning environment
  • Collect completed work after the lesson and pass to the appropriate teacher
  • Provide feedback to senior staff where appropriate

Applicants are expected to have at least 6 months experience of working with children in the past 2 years, formal qualifications are not necessary. Applicants who have experience teaching sports clubs to children, attended Camp America or Active Soccer or have other similar experiences will be suitable for the role.

The following skills are desirable for becoming a Cover Supervisor:

  • Highly adaptable as there is no a regular timetable
  • Open to work in a range of schools and areas
  • Resilient as you will deal with a variety of situations
  • Behaviour management skills

Head of Mathematics

Exclusive Education are looking for outstanding teachers who we can support to continue to improve their practice and who are prepared to work not only in their academy, but collaboratively with colleagues in the Trust to improve student outcomes. This role is to start in January 2018 and is permanent!

SEN Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant Level 3

Exclusive Education are looking for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to work on a long term basis in a school in the Widnes area. You will be working with children with Special Educational Needs, supporting them in their learning and helping them to overcome any barriers.

In addition, you will:

  • work with pupils on individual targets set by teaching staff
  • organise liaison on behalf of pupils with colleagues, parents and outside agencies in a professional manner being aware of confidentiality
  • be able to support and develop our nurture group
  • support for teachers by raising the awareness of teaching staff to the strengths and difficulties of individual pupils
  • assist teaching staff in the monitoring and evaluation of pupils’ progress, providing them with feedback on observations undertaken
  • understanding the emotional and social needs of pupils with whom working and contribute to planning of learning activities
