Exclusive Education are looking for a Learning Mentor for an immediate start for a position to over sickness. The position will be working with pupils aged 14 – 16 years who are accessing alternative education. The role will involve escorting pupils to education bases and training providers, attending meeting relating to pupils and pastoral support. Applicants are required to have Youth Worker background or a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. Previous experience working with pupils with behavioral difficulties or barriers to learning would be highly desirable.
The successful candidate;
- Must have a up to date DBS or will be subject to cover the cost of a new one
- Must be able to drive and have use of their own vehicle
- Will have worked with children in the last two years for a minimum of 6 months
- Have experience with a Special School setting
Start date: 18/04/16 for 6 weeks
