Exclusive Education are looking to recruit a Biology Teacher for a Secondary School in the North West. The school are looking for a Biology Teacher to teach a full timetable across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 with the majority teaching GCSE and A Level.
This position would suit an ambitious and driven Biology Teacher who has a strong classroom presence. We want to see teachers with the drive to use the latest technological advancements and an exemplary understanding of the curriculum to deliver outstanding lessons. You will have the skills to teach lessons with tricky concepts by simplifying the subject matter in a fun and effective way. You will have a solid grasp of the latest teaching techniques and practices used to deal with any bad or challenging behaviour in the class.
You must have:
- QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
- At least 6 months experience working with children in the last 2 years
- Legal right to work in the UK
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, cost of which will be met by the applicant, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks
