We are currently seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to work in a Special school based in Liverpool. The school is looking for someone who has a real interest in the provision of quality teaching and support for all students. The role will be working in a Special school which caters for Secondary aged pupils with complex needs such as Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour.
Applicants must have experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs, ideally in a Special School setting, and should have a minimum of 6 months experience within the last two years.
The successful candidate will need to be able to adapt to different environments and support teachers within the classroom and provided one to one support where needed.
Strong behaviour management skills are required and you must be able to ensure that pupils are engaging and participating in lessons at all times in order to achieve the best possible results for each student. .
