We are currently seeking to appoint a passionate and resilient General Teacher to work at a challenging school in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to supporting pupils with a range of needs to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional and behavioural needs
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using strong and consistent strategies
• Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with support staff and other teachers
• Encourage pupil participation, motivation, and independence in learning
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
Candidate Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Recent experience teaching within the last 2 years
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
• Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
• Resilient, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Two professional references relating to teaching roles
• A current Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
