Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing individualised support
  • Assisting with classroom activities and developmental tasks in line with the National Curriculum
  • Supporting the pupil’s personal, social, and emotional development
  • Monitoring and recording the pupil’s progress, behaviour, and engagement
  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external agencies to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to build the pupil’s confidence and independence
  • Assisting with personal care, where required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Recent childcare or school-based experience within the last 2 years
  • Ability to provide two references confirming your experience with children
  • A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning
  • Experience working 1-1 with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential

Location: St Helens School
Working Hours: Flexible – 3 days per week (flexible days), 2 hours per day, during school hours (typically between 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)

Role Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Tutors to join our team, working directly within a school environment in St Helens. In this role, you will support students during school hours by delivering personalised, one-on-one tuition tailored to their individual learning needs. You will be an important part of the school community, helping students achieve their academic potential through engaging and effective lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one tuition to students within the school setting

  • Plan and implement tailored learning programmes based on individual student needs and abilities

  • Write weekly progress reports detailing attendance and achievements during sessions

SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistant Required
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week
Salary: £92 per day

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN from EYFS – Key Stage 2 at an SEN base within a primary school in St. Helen’s. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time ideally but part-time hours will be considered for September 2025.

The ideal candidate for the Teaching Assistant position will have previous experience working with children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
• Support pupils with Autism and other Special Educational Needs to access the curriculum and engage in learning

• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver personalised learning support as a proactive Teaching Assistant

• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and support ongoing assessment

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant role:
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., NCFE, CACHE, NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) is desirable
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Recent experience working with children within the last two years
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism and special educational needs
• Excellent understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks

Primary SEN Teacher

SEN Primary Teacher Required

Salary/ Rate: £110 per day depending on experience

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a SEN classroom teacher to teach SEN pupils at a mainstream primary school in Aigburth (Liverpool) within their SEN base. The role will start asap on a potentially on-going basis. They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching.
