We are looking for a tutor to work 2 hour sessions on a long term on going basis.
The sessions will be lessons based around their hobbies and interests.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years

SEN Teacher

SEN Teacher Required

Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a dedicated and knowledgeable SEN Teacher with strong experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to support pupils across primary and secondary age ranges at a specialist school. This SEN Teacher role is full-time, although part-time hours will be considered for September 2025.

The ideal candidate for this SEN Teacher position will have previous experience working with children with ASD and a strong understanding of how to adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of complex needs.

Key Responsibilities of the SEN Teacher:
• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with Autism and other Special Educational Needs across primary and secondary phases
• Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support pupil progress
• Use structured teaching approaches (such as TEACCH) and visual supports to enhance learning

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to deliver personalised learning
• Support pupils’ communication, social, emotional, and developmental needs
• Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly

Requirements for the SEN Teacher role:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Recent experience working with children within the last two years
• Proven experience supporting pupils with Autism and special educational needs
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and differentiation strategies
• Experience teaching across primary and/or secondary phases is advantageous
• Ability to provide two professional references from recent roles working with children
• Hold a current DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
• Training or experience in ASD strategies such as TEACCH, PECs, or Team Teach is desirable
