Learning Mentor


A Learning Mentor is required for an immediate start for a long term position.

The position will be working with pupils aged 14 – 16 years who are accessing alternative education. The role will involve escorting pupils to education bases and training providers, attending meeting relating to pupils and pastoral support. Applicants are required to have Youth Worker background or a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. Previous experience working with pupils with behavioural difficulties or barriers to learning would be highly desirable

Applicants must have experience of working with pupils with Autism and Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties. Team Teach and Makaton training would be desirable.
