Exclusive Education are excited to be recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly, welcoming and vibrant primary school in Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a Year 5 class within a supportive school that values creativity, high-quality teaching and pupil achievement.

The role is available for an immediate start and is ideal for a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, build positive relationships with pupils and create an inspiring learning environment. The successful candidate will be confident in taking full responsibility for the class and maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.

What We’re Looking For

The school is seeking a Qualified Teacher who can demonstrate excellent classroom practice and implement effective behaviour management strategies while adhering to school policies. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also encouraged to apply, and previous Year 5 teaching experience is desirable.

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification with QTS (such as PGCE, B.Ed. or BA (Hons))
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous experience working with children
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Previous Year 5 teaching experience is desirable
  • Provide two professional references covering your work with children over the last two years
  • Hold a current DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new DBS
