A Teaching Assistant is required for a long term position working on a one to one with a Year 2 pupil with Downs Syndrome and behavioural difficulties. The pupil is non-verbal so experience of using PEC’s would be highly desirable. The role will involve learning through play activities. The successful candidate would be required to assist with personal care.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about delivering Literacy and Numeracy and with a track record of pupil progression. The ability to deliver a range of creative, outside of the box teaching to engage pupils and develop pupils understanding and attainment levels.
