PE Teacher Required
Salary/ Rate: £95-£160 per day depending on experience
Temporary basis working 5 days per week full time hours
Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a PE Teacher to work in a school in the North West. The role will start as soon as possible.
They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school.
The School are looking at taking on either an NQT or a Qualified Teacher for this role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.
In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children
• Previous PE teaching experience
• Two references working with children covering the last 2 years
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

Learning Support Mentor – Chester

An independant school in Chester are looking to recruit a full-time, permanent Learning Support Mentor to work within both KS1 and KS2.

The job role will include:

Work as part of a class team, under the direction of the class teacher and trans-disciplinary colleagues, to deliver effective and appropriate teaching, learning and behaviour support in all areas of school life underpinned by an evidence-based behavioural model of practice.
• Creating a positive learning environment, reflective of the school’s culture and ethos as set out in its curriculum purpose statement.
• Work with pupils both individually and in small groups supporting them to overcome barriers to learning, delivering teaching, providing positive behaviour support and delivering other focused interventions.
• Act as the key worker for one pupil, taking responsibility for coordinating their resources, monitoring their daily data, and advocating for them within team meetings.

Responsibilites will include:

Implement and support the teacher’s implementation of appropriate teaching and learning activities to achieve challenging learning objectives in all areas of the curriculum, appropriately tailored to meet the individual needs of all children or young people in the class.
• Work within the school’s Positive Behaviour Policy and framework to improve the quality of children and young people’s lives; establishing appropriate behaviour for learning and helping them to work with other people.
• Support children and young people to experience positive wellbeing through appropriate learning and leisure activities and by creating a supportive ethos within the class.
• Establish productive working relationships with children and young people, acting as a role model, and setting high expectations.
• Support inclusion for children and young people through experiences in other schools, colleges and work experience schemes.

Criteria:

  • Five GCSEs or equivalent (Including Maths and English)
  • Experience of working with or caring for children or young people, and SEN experience
  • Proven ability to solve problems quickly
  • Flexible attitude to work
  • Able to speak, write clearly and use funcitional Maths
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Ability to build working relationships with pupils and colleagues

Starting Salary:

£18,426-£25,000 (Not pro-rata) based on experience

Working Hours:

Full-Time (Term-Time only) 35 hours per week
