Year 5 Teacher

Exclusive Education are currently working with a Primary School who are currently looking to recruit a Year 5 Teacher. They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school, this position is ideal for an experienced Teacher as well as an NQT.

You will be required to undertake all duties required of a qualified teacher identified in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document and will undertake class teaching in a designated year group. The role involves monitoring and assessing pupils’ results and progress, ensuring appropriate records are kept is an integral part of your job. Planning and preparing differentiated work that meets the needs and potential of all pupils is an essential skill. You will need to be a confident manager of other adults as there are support staff currently working with individual students in the class.

Experience of planning towards and implementing the non-statutory SATs would be helpful but not essential as support can be given. NQTs are welcome to apply.

We are currently looking for a flexible practitioner who is able to motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for primary education. As a reflective teacher you will evaluate and review your own teaching methods, materials and plans, making appropriate changes when required.

You will need to teach all primary subjects to a high standard, according to the National Curriculum, keeping good order, discipline and respect for others as an integral part of the classroom ethos. You will be responsible for teaching a class, set or group or individual pupils, and to set tasks to be undertaken both at school and at home.

The children’s work should be marked and assessed daily and accurate records kept of their progress. Regular parent’s evening will be held so that all relevant information relating to the children’s education and emotional wellbeing can be fed back.

You will be expected to:

Facilitate, support and monitor the overall progress and development pupils
Set tasks for the whole class, individuals or groups which challenges pupils and ensures high levels of interest

Cover Supervisor

Exclusive Education are looking for a Cover Supervisor to work in local schools in the North West. Working as a Cover Supervisor is an ideal way of building on past school experience for those looking to gain a career in the education sector or go on to complete Teacher Training.

Cover Supervisors are required on an ongoing basis to:

Provide the pupils with work already set by the Teacher
Supervise and manage a classroom of pupils, while enabling a constructive and positive learning environment
Collect completed work after the lesson and pass to the appropriate teacher
Provide feedback to senior staff where appropriate

Applicants are expected to have at least 6 months experience of working with children in the past 2 years, formal qualifications are not necessary. Applicants who have experience teaching sports clubs to children, attended Camp America or Active Soccer or have other similar experiences will be suitable for the role.

The following skills are desirable for becoming a Cover Supervisor:
