Salary/ Rate: £86 – £92 per day depending on experience
Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an ASD Teaching Assistant to work across Key stage 4 and Key Stage 5 at a school in the Newton-Le-Willows with pupils with Special Educational Needs. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is for 5 days per week, is to in September working full time on a long term basis.
The ideal candidate for the SEN Teaching Assistant role will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, working with pupils with Autism and Challenging Behaviour. Previous experience working with pupils with Autism is highly desirable. An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would be desirable.
In order to be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant role we require you meet the following criteria;
- Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
- Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident

- Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Previous KS3, KS4 and KS5 experience
