Salary/ Rate: £86-£90 per day

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a Special Educational Needs school in Widnes supporting pupils across all Key Stages with varied Special Educational Needs. This role is for 5 days per week and is to start as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate will have previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience, will be confident undertaking work to the KS1 through to Key Stage 4 curriculums and must have experience in supporting pupils with SEN. Also will consider candidates with care background supporting with sensory needs.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
Previous EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5 experience
Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
Two references working with children
Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

The role requires experience of supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs including a variety of needs such as challenging behaviour.

The School are looking at taking on either an ECT or a Qualified Teacher for this SEN English Teacher role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.

SEN Teaching Assistant

Cover Supervisor

Exclusive Education are looking for a Cover Supervisor to work in local schools in the North West. Working as a Cover Supervisor is an ideal way of building on past school experience for those looking to gain a career in the education sector or go on to complete Teacher Training.

Cover Supervisors are required on an ongoing basis to:

Provide the pupils with work already set by the Teacher
Supervise and manage a classroom of pupils, while enabling a constructive and positive learning environment
Collect completed work after the lesson and pass to the appropriate teacher
Provide feedback to senior staff where appropriate

Applicants are expected to have at least 6 months experience of working with children in the past 2 years, formal qualifications are not necessary. Applicants who have experience teaching sports clubs to children, attended Camp America or Active Soccer or have other similar experiences will be suitable for the role.

History Teacher

Exclusive Education are searching for a History Teacher on behalf of our client, a well-respected school in the North West. The ideal teacher will be innovative, enthusiastic and passionate. You will need to be able to plan and prepare exciting lesson plans to enthuse the students.
