Science Teacher

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Teacher of Science (Physics / Chemistry / Biology) across KS3, KS4 up to and including A-Level Key Stage 5, inspiring students to have a passion for the subject and an understanding of its key ideas, concepts and skills. The role is to commence February 2018 – July 2018.

The successful candidate will be able to explicitly model and develop models of teaching and learning so that students can make connections and apply their learning in a variety of contexts. Computer Science/ICT Teacher

A Computer Science/ICT Teacher is required in a Secondary School to teach 11 to 16 year olds. The right candidate will hold a background in teaching Computer Science and ICT knowledge ideally up to KS5, although KS3/4 teachers will also be considered. The role is to commence in February until July 2018.

You must have the following:

  • Experience of teaching Computer Science/ICT up to Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 is desirable)
  • Ability to use a variety of teaching techniques such as whole class lessons, discussions, individual assignments or group work
  • Ability to organise and direct the whole class and provide additional support where required
  • Capability to create lesson plans, assignments, projects, tests, and marking pupils’ work
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Have the ability and confidence to engage and motivate pupils through creative lessons
  • Ability to deal with and de-escalate challenging situations in a calm and timely manner
  • Have the ability to be able to work as part of a team as well as being able to effectively work individually
  • Develop a good rapport with students, department and members of staff
