We are currently looking for a play worker to work at an after school club based within a primary school in Bolton.
The hours will be Monday to Friday 7.15am-9.00am and 3.15pm to 6.15pm. This role will commence on the 15th April 2024 up until at least Christmas. My client is looking for a candidate who has experience working with 4 to 11 year olds and understand the varied needs of children.
In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;
- Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
- Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Previous KS1 experience
- Two references working with children
- Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
