Location: St Helens School
Working Hours: Flexible – 3 days per week (flexible days), 2 hours per day, during school hours (typically between 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
Role Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Tutors to join our team, working directly within a school environment in St Helens. In this role, you will support students during school hours by delivering personalised, one-on-one tuition tailored to their individual learning needs. You will be an important part of the school community, helping students achieve their academic potential through engaging and effective lessons.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-on-one tuition to students within the school setting

Plan and implement tailored learning programmes based on individual student needs and abilities

Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment within the school

Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents

Write weekly progress reports detailing attendance and achievements during sessions

Collaborate with school staff to support students’ wider educational development
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher or equivalent tutoring experience

Passion for education and commitment to helping students succeed

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable and dedicated to supporting students’ academic goals

Enhanced DBS check (support will be provided for this process)

Two childcare references from within the last 2 years

Maths Tutor Required
Salary/ Rate: £110-£140 per day depending on experience
Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Maths Tutor to work in a lovely primary school in Warrington. This role is to work in the Year 6 class starting in September. This role will be part time and will be for one day a week on a Tuesday to prepare for SATS in the new academic year.
As a tutor you will evaluate and review your own teaching methods, materials and plans, making appropriate changes when required. Previous KS2 and SATS preparation experience is essential and a specialism with Maths is desirable but not essential.
The children’s work should be marked and assessed daily and accurate records kept of their progress. Regular parent’s evening will be held so that all relevant information relating to the children’s education and emotional wellbeing can be fed back.
