Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and boost confidence.

- Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a primary school.
- Experience supporting children in Key Stage 2, ideally within a Year 3 classroom.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting children’s learning.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use your own initiative.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to promote positive behaviour.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
