The ideal candidate will have previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience and experience of working with pupils with ASD and ADHD.
In order to be considered for this one to one SEN Teaching Assistant role we require you meet the following criteria;
- Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
- Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
- Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Curriculum experience
- Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Two references working with children
- Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a SEMH Functional Needs Teacher to work in a Special Educational Needs school in the North West. The role will start as soon as possible. They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school. Previous experience of working as a Functional Skills Teacher would be required. The role will involve teaching a group of 6 students the following sessions:
• Functional maths and English (2 x 1/2 day sessions)
• OCR Life and Living Skills course- independent living and work skills sessions (4 x 1/2 day sessions)
• PSHE/ careers session (1×1/2 day session)
• Creative curriculum session
• Sport and leisure session
The candidate must also have experience of:
• Working with SEN students working at pre-entry / Entry 1 level
• Vocational qualification- OCR Life and Living Skills
• ASD and strategies to support
• Understanding of challenging behaviour and how it is managed
• Working with students aged 16-19 years old
In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children and supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Have experience of supporting pupils with behavioural difficulties
• Have good knowledge of the full curriculum
• Previous KS3 and KS4 teaching experience
• Two references working with children covering the last 2 years
