English Teacher – Crewe

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an English Teacher to join a dynamic Secondary School in the Wirral area. This role is due to start in January 2026 and can be on a part time basis. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and confident English Teacher to take over the class and deliver high-quality teaching in English Language and Literature.

Responsibilities of an English Teacher include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in English Language and Literature to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Creating a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning
  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress regularly
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies
  • Adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

To be considered for this English Teacher role, you must:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed., or BA Hons with QTS)
  • Be eligible to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have prior experience working with children
  • Have teaching experience in both English Language and English Literature
  • Provide two professional references covering the last 2 years (ideally involving work with children)
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one

Qualified SENCo

Location – Wigan

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a SENCO to work across Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 4 at a school in Wigan supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
SENCO experience, will be essential in the role. Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the school’s SEN policy. Supporting the identification of children with special educational needs. Liaising with other providers, outside agencies, educational psychologists and external agencies.
In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Previous SENCO experience
• Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
