ICT and Computing Teacher

ICT Teacher Required

Salary/ Rate: £95-£140 per day depending on experience

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint an ICT Teacher to work in a school in the North West. The role will start as soon as possible until July 2019. They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school.

The School are looking at taking on either an NQT or a Qualified Teacher for this role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous experience of working with children
  • Previous ICT teaching experience
  • Two references working with children covering the last 2 years
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

Year 11 Teaching Assistant

Exclusive Education are looking for a SEN experienced Teaching Assistant to work with Year 11 pupils on a one to one and group basis within a Special Educational Needs school.

The ideal candidate must have at least 6 months experience in working in education and be experienced in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs in Key Stage 4.

You will need to work alongside the Class Teacher providing whole class support as well as working on a one to one support basis to provide academic support, personal development and guidance. You must be creative in your approach in order to motivate the pupils and keep them focussed throughout the lessons. Building good relationships with the pupils as well as the parents in order to achieve progress.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a good understanding of the curriculums
  • Have good experience in supporting pupils within Key Stage 4
  • A firm understanding of the Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements
  • A charismatic and hardworking attitude
  • A genuine passion for working with children with the commitment that the children are at the centre of everything you do
  • Excellent communication skills with children, their families and your colleagues

Humanities Teacher

A Humanities Teacher is required in a Secondary School to teach 11 to 16 year olds. The right candidate will hold a background in teaching History, Geography and/or Religious Studies ideally up to KS5, although KS3/4 teachers will also be considered.

You must have the following:

  • Experience of teaching History, Geography and R.E up to Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 is desirable)
  • Ability to use a variety of teaching techniques such as whole class lessons, discussions, individual assignments or group work
  • Ability to organise and direct the whole class and provide additional support where required
  • Capability to create lesson plans, assignments, projects, tests, and marking pupils’ work
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Have the ability and confidence to engage and motivate pupils through creative lessons
  • Ability to deal with and de-escalate challenging situations in a calm and timely manner
  • Have the ability to be able to work as part of a team as well as being able to effectively work individually
  • Develop a good rapport with students, department and members of staff

You must have:

  • QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
  • At least 6 months experience working with children in the last 2 years
  • Legal right to work in the UK
