Science and Maths Teacher

Behavioural Teaching Assistant

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant that specialises in Behavioural Difficulties to teach in a Special Educational Needs School. The position we currently have available is a long term position working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils with Complex Social, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour.

You will be supporting young people with extremely challenging behaviour and barriers to learning. It will also be supporting Looked After children so previous experience in this area would be desirable.

The successful candidate will have the ability to foster strong rapport with you people and effectively build relationships with disengaged pupils. Previous experience working with Looked After children and young people with challenging behaviour is highly desirable.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will be an experienced, high achieving and dedicated TA who is passionate about building confidence and keeping pupils engaged.

Construction Teaching Assistant

Exclusive Education are working with a special school in Halton in order to recruit an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with Construction experience/knowledge.

The school caters for vulnerable and disengaged young people that cannot access mainstream education. They are looking for positive role models that are able to assist in the planning and delivery of joinery, brickwork and general construction lessons to small groups of students in an engaging way. Pupils may display challenging behaviour so excellent behaviour management is necessary and de-escalation training would be beneficial. They aim to provide structure and education to pupils while helping to re-integrate back into school and offer a range of vocational courses. You will be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment for all students.

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Experience working with young people.
  • Good knowledge of Construction, Labouring or Design Technology.
