EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary/ Rate: £62-£66 per day

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to work across EYFS curriculum at a school in the North West supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs. This role is for 5 days per week supporting pupils with ASD.

The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, will be confident undertaking work to the EYFS curriculum and have experience in supporting pupils with SEN.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Previous EYFS experience
• Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a Special School. The school caters for children and young people with Autism, Severe and Complex and Multiple Learning Needs. The role will be working 5 days a week from March on a long term ongoing basis. The role will be working in an EYFS class supporting pupils with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and challenging behaviour. The school are looking for a confident, outstanding Teaching Assistant who is passionate about working with children with Special Educational Needs and is keen to become an crucial part of a successful and committed team. You must have some experience supporting EYFS and knowledge and understanding of learning through play. Experience working with Autism would also be advantageous.

EYFS One to One Teaching Assistant

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an SEN One to One Teaching Assistant to work within EYFS at a school in the North West with a pupil with Autism and Speech and Language Issues. This role is for 5 days per week, is to start as soon as possible working full time.

The ideal candidate will have previous One to One Teaching Assistant experience, will be confident undertaking work to the EYFS. Makaton training is highly desireable.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Previous KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5 experience
• Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
