Salary/ Rate: £65 per day
Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a primary age pupil’s with Autism and Behavioural Difficulties at a school in the North West This role is for 5 days per week, is to start from September 2020 on a long term basis.
The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, working with pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs. Previous experience working with pupils with additional needs is desirable.
In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;
• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Previous KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5 experience
• Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

Nurture Teacher
A Nurture Teacher is required for a long term role from September 2020 who is compassionate, keen and caring individual to join the team to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues and challenging behaviour.
The role will require a child centered approach to learning working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils who have be excluded from other mainstream and Special schools. The role will involve:
– leading the learning of a group of pupils who experience a range of needs and challenges (primarily social,
emotional and behavioural).
– To play a lead role in the development of the nurture group in accordance with nurture group principles to
ensure that barriers to learning are reduced and to support students achieve their full potential.
– To take a supporting role in monitoring to ensure that the school’s systems for promoting positive behaviour
and attitudes to learning are effective.
– To plan and deliver engaging and motivating experiences relevant to the nurture group principles (children’s
learning is understood developmentally; the classroom offers a safe base; nurture is important for the
development of self-esteem; language is understood as a vital means of communication; all behaviour is
communication; transitions are significant in the lives of children).
• To develop an appropriate, broad, balanced, relevant, differentiated and challenging curriculum to all pupils
appropriate to their needs.
• To provide support for a named group of children through a carefully structured timetable that balances
learning, affection and structure within a caring home-like atmosphere

SEN Construction Tutor
Exclusive Education are currently working with a Special Educational Needs School who are looking for a tutor to deliver lessons in Construction. They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivating and engaging to work with the pupils throughout the school.
The school caters for vulnerable and disengaged young people that cannot access mainstream education. They are looking for positive role models that are able to assist in the planning and delivery of joinery, brickwork and general construction lessons to small groups of students in an engaging way. Pupils may display challenging behaviour so excellent behaviour management is necessary and de-escalation training would be beneficial.

Across the whole of England, Wales and Northern Ireland hundreds of thousands of teenagers will be waiting anxiously for the results of their GCSES or A Level results, many worrying unnecessarily but I am sure we can all remember the panic and sense of anticipations as the days draw shorter towards results day.
