A Special Needs Teaching Assistant is required for a long term position at a Special Needs School in the North West area. The position is working with both Primary and Secondary aged pupils with a wide range of complex Learning Difficulties including working with pupils with SLD and PMLD.
Experience working in a Special School setting teaching pupils with SLD and PMLD and associated Learning Difficulties would be highly desirable. An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teacch or Team Teach would also be desirable.

A Cover Supervisor is required on an ongoing basis to manage a classroom of pupils while enabling a constructive learning environment. Applicants are expected to have at least 6 months experience of working with children in the past 2 years, formal qualifications are not necessary.
Applicants who have experience teaching sports clubs to children, attended Camp America or Active Soccer or have other similar experiences will be suitable for the role.
In the role you will be expected to;

A Primary SEN Teacher is required for a long term position covering an absence at a Special School. The position is full time working with a Key Stage 2 group (Year’s 4 – 6) with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and behavioural difficulties. All applicants must have recent experience teaching pupils with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties, ideally within a specialist SEN environment.
