SENCO experience, will be essential in the role. Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the school’s SEN policy. Supporting the identification of children with special educational needs. Liaising with other providers, outside agencies, educational psychologists and external agencies.

They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school. The candidate must have experience in supporting pupils with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties and have good behaviour management.

The School are looking at taking on either an NQT or a Qualified Teacher for this role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.

The ideal candidate will have previous One to One Tutor experience, will be confident undertaking work to the Key Stage 3 & 4 curriculum. The successful candidate will be working with students out of school setting for a range of reasons including mental health issues, exclusion and awaiting school placements. Tuition will take place in libraries or the pupil’s home.
